Energy Lab Apparel — About

Energy Lab is a casual apparel brand for triathletes.

We want you to have comfortable, well fitting clothes that make you feel confident and proud to be a triathlete. We believe it’s time for a fresh, new option in day-to-day triathlon inspired apparel, and Energy Lab is our way of providing that.

The name, Energy Lab Apparel, is just what you are thinking, a nod to one of the toughest sections in the marathon of the Hawaii Ironman World Championship.

Who is "we"?

We are a husband and wife team, Jordan and Lauren White! Jordan, my husband, is our resident triathlon expert. He loves to dig deep into the triathlon world – researching, learning and sharing – and is the first to offer help to any new triathlete. I (Lauren) am the creative force behind Energy Lab Apparel, designing the shirts and dreaming up the future for Energy Lab in collaboration with Jordan. I’m a graphic designer by trade and a triathlete by passion. We live in Joplin, MO and have a loyal cat named Rev.

Our triathlon story

In 2010 we were driving down one of the main streets in Joplin and saw a billboard for the Summer Roundup Triathlon. Jordan mostly joking said, “Hey we should do that next year!” and to his surprise I said “Ok! Let’s do it!” From that moment our lives have never been the same. We started training that summer and competed the next year! Since we started racing in 2011 we have done dozens of races, including two half-Iron distance races each.

We are proud, active members of our local triathlon club Rufus Racing. I work from home as owner and operator of Lauren White Creative, a graphic design company. Jordan works at Christ’s Church of Oronogo doing video production, social media management and website content management. (How lucky am I to have such a great partner in all things technical!)

Thank you for checking out Energy Lab Apparel. If you like what you see, share it with your training buddies! If you have any questions please feel free to contact us: We would love to hear from you about our shirts, or even just to tell us what races you have planned for this year or what your favorite race of all time is!
